Can I run for charity?
Yes you can. Please feel free to run for your choice of charity. We do have extra incentives available for anyone running on behalf of one of our charity partners.
Are charity places available?
Yes, a number of Team Get Busy Living Charity places are available. Please apply to The Rutland Marathon directly for a place.
Can I nominate my own charity for places?
If you feel we could help, please don't hesitate to get in contact with us. It can't hurt to ask.
I haven't received my confirmation of entry, What should I do?
Check your email SPAM folder
If it isn't hiding in there, please email us with your name and the date you submitted your entry.
How can I check the status of my entry?

What should I do on race morning?
Make your way to Sykes lane, see maps provided. Park your car in the allocated car park (marshalls will be on hand to assist) Then make your way to the Event registration. We will give you your timing chip and race number.
Are there pacesetters at this event?
Not currently,
I dont want to pay online, is there another way to enter the race?
We accept postal entries, there will also be limited places available on the morning of the race (Subject to availability). Postal entries should be sent to JC race solutions.
What facilties are there on the route?

Are there feed stations on the course?
Yes, we have very well stocked feed stations.
Can I wear headphones?
No in or over ear headphones can be worn. Bone conducting headphones are allowed.
Can I update my entry details?
Yes you may update your online entry by emailing The Rutland Marathon team directly.
Is there an official event photographer?
Yes, links will be provided after the event to purchase your race photos.
Is the route closed to the public?
No, the whole route is open to the public, you will encounter walkers, Maybe more runners, Cyclist, dog walkers and possibly a few cars along the route. If we see an area as being vulnerable and potentially hazardous to runners we will marshall the area appropriately.
